Travel is quoted before we leave
You get the kilometre rate and the hours in writing. No surprise line on the invoice when we get back.

The person who scoped it is the person who turns up and the person you ring afterwards.
Certificate of compliance, same day
Every job is tested and certified to AS/NZS 3000 and emailed to you before we invoice.
We put the wall back
Chased plaster gets patched, ceiling insulation goes back, and the site is swept before we leave it.

Everything inside 600 kilometres of the Gap, on a run rather than an emergency wherever we can manage it. Travel is quoted per kilometre and per hour before we leave, and if you’re on a scheduled run that cost is split across every job on the trip.

A per-kilometre rate plus travel time, both quoted before we leave. If you're on one of our scheduled runs — west to Ntaria and Papunya, north to Ti Tree, south-east to Santa Teresa — that cost is shared across every job on the trip, so it drops a long way. Ask which run you fall on.
In town, usually the same day and often within a couple of hours. After hours the breakdown line goes to an on-call electrician, not a message bank. Out of town, we'll tell you honestly on the phone whether it's a drive today or a run this week, and what you can safely do in the meantime.
Always, on every job, emailed the same day it's finished. It's your proof the work meets AS/NZS 3000, and you'll want it for insurance and for selling the place. We keep a copy on file for seven years.
Yes. Both are core work here — evap service and pad replacement before summer, split system installs and refrigerant work under our ARCtick licence. If a unit is past sensible repair we'll say so rather than charge you twice.
Grid-connect PV in town, and standalone systems with battery and generator changeover for properties past the mains. Out bush we size for the load you actually run in January, not a brochure figure.
